We have found that there are three main price ranges
We actually visit and inspect each resort, and try to arrange the correct resort for your lifestyle. Quality is generally pretty good, as most reosrts are recently buitl. This is not an area for backpackers - unless you want to splurge. This area has a strong emphasis on family reosrts and long-term holiday makers.
As we are not affiliated wiht any one resort, we are not beholden to any resort. We have a simple Three-strikes policy. If we receive three complaints about a resort (or liveabaord) we no longer do business with them. our role is to arrange your holiday and to assure you of the best vacation possible. So please peruse the price ranges below and then select a resort or two that suits you fancy.
If you aren't sure of the descriptions, or don't see anything that meets your desires - let us know what you are looking for. We will offer a selection of resorts that should suit your needs. We provide this service in addition to arranging Diving. So let us know how long you'll stay, and what you are looking for, we'll arrange it.
We also arrange transport to and from the airport and other localioties (Krabi, Surat Thani, Ranong) if you deisre.

Economy
these rooms range from 200 - 1200 Baht a night
There will be safety and a great deal of comfort. This is definitely a place where what you pay is what you get! So there cna be squat or shared toilets in the lower priced rooms. There will not always be a restaurant or bar on site (plenty more to chose from). There will rarely be air con, never a TV, but who came to Thailand to watch the TELLy? You may be near the street instead of the beach (closer to the restaurants). But we have stayed in many of these places, we check each resort/guest house ourselves and we listen to each of you in our reviews.
Khao Lak has never been too friendly to the backpacker market, but after several years in town we found the real gems among the offal. These places tend to be full (for good reason) so if you want a room, give us a call (or skype, or email) and we'll see if we can grab a room. If there are no rooms, we'll let you know about other options in the smae price range with similar amenities.
Of course the period from mid-december to mid february is our real peak season, and many places are full (especially the good ones) and they may even charge more. But if you give us a shout, we'll give you the real scoop on where to stay - or arrange it for you! |

Comfort rooms
prices range from 1,000 to 7,000 baht
You can rest assured that there are no roosters outside you door - we hate that
we personally inspect each room and test the bathrooms, the beds and the showers - who needs cold showers?!
All accommodation at this level has fresh linens, a restaurant and planty of relaxtion
There will usually be onsite amenties like Massage, bar and concierge
There may not be a swimming pool, but your on the ocean!
Air condition is a must, and most of the rooms have televeison with satellite hook-ups for the world cup and more...
Mnay of these resorts fill up during our peak period (mid december until mid febraury) so please contact us about resrvations. Actually call us about anythig you need in Khao Lak. We can arange someone to meet you at the airport (cheaper than the airport mafia - ahem - taxi servie). We will make the reservtions, arrange many of the local tours for you and of course all your didinvg needs!

Prices begin at 5000 baht a night
We assure you of the best service and quality - we personally examine each room and all the facilities.
These will be right on the beach, there will be a swimming pool (we currently have the largest pool in Asia!), room service, and all manner of activities to suit you needs, from diving to jungle expeditions to cultural shows
